FiiO's SnowSky sub-brand has built its identity around blending nostalgic, retro styling with genuinely approachable pricing, and the Nature is their latest over-ear release
Build is mostly plastic with metal cup holders, which is exactly why the Nature comes in at such a featherlight 280g. The earcups carry a wood-look finish through a water-transfer printing process and it certainly doesn’t look cheap at all despite not being a real wood
The earpads and headband use the same protein leather material, and despite the pads not being especially deep at roughly 20mm, there's room behind the foam for your ears to sit naturally without pressing flat against it, overall clamping force is good, do note that i am wearing spectacles while using the headphone
The included accessories are basic but functional, a case for storage as well as dual 3.5mm cable, nothing fancy, but given the asking price, it’s not something that should be called out as a con

My review is solely based on what I hear via my equipment and I never consider my reviews to be objective in any way rather a subjective approach. Do take into consideration that everyone's ear anatomy is not the same, so the psychoacoustics perception might be different as well, but i believe it will not stray too far
Sound Impression
The Nature's overall signature leans towards a fairly balanced tonality, with just a touch more energy sitting up top. Given the nature of my sources, I found this treble lift to stay on the right side of acceptable — present enough to add air and sparkle, but never crossing into harsh or fatiguing territory. Timbre comes across as natural rather than artificially sweetened, and note weight throughout has a good sense of body to it, which helps the Nature avoid sounding thin or clinical despite its price point.
What stands out most to me is how coherent the whole presentation feels — nothing sticks out awkwardly, and the tuning comes across as deliberate rather than the result of cutting corners. It's not a signature chasing a "wow" factor on first listen, but one that rewards longer sessions, which pairs well with how genuinely comfortable the Nature is to wear. On the desktop chain especially, the FiiO K17 R2R's inherent smoothness rounds off that slight treble energy just a touch more, making for a very easy, non-fatiguing listen over extended periods
Bass
Bass is polite here and also very dependent on the seal, it is not lacking in terms of quantity but i would put it in a way where i would say the bass response is fairly neutral and not overly emphasised, it is certainly not a set for basshead or those seeking deep rumble and punchy bass
Listening to Slipknot's People = Crap!, the double-kick during the opening is present but lacks real weight or impact, staying reserved rather than assertive
The bass doesn't bleed into the mids at all, which keeps things clean, but the trade-off is a low end that feels more like an afterthought than a foundation
Mids
The mid range is full sounding with good details across the range for the asking price, which in my opinion is impressive
Male vocals carry reasonable body — Zhao Peng's baritone comes through with a fair amount of presence, aided by that fuller character
Female vocals stay clear with good texture and body without being overly forward and shouty
Instruments in the midrange sit reasonably well in the mix without feeling hollow
Treble
Treble does have a little bit more energy and emphasis but not to the point where it is fatiguing and sibilant
Details are easily picked up and instruments in this range has good texture and body overall
Cymbals does not sound sibilant to my ears
Soundstage/Imaging
In terms of soundstage, the Nature is okay-ish for the price, not the kind of presentation where you feel like you are in a hall, but it gives a reasonable perception of width, depth and height
Imaging, however, is genuinely good for the price, with reasonably confident placement of instruments and vocals within that more contained stage
The overall spatial presentation is more intimate than expansive, which fits a closed-back design but is a real departure from the airier, more open character of its closest tonal reference point
Driveability
Nature is easy to drive, entry level or mid range dongle will do just fine, but switching to desktop setup does squeeze every bit out of the Nature and i’m not gonna lie, it really sounds good
FiiO K17 R2R: More amplification than the Nature strictly needs, but the K17 R2R does tighten up what little bass is on offer and gives the imaging a touch more precision. The R2R character from the K17 softens the Nature's brighter tonal edge very slightly, which may be a welcome pairing for those who find the stock brightness a bit much on lesser sources
Comparison (AKG K52)
The K52's mids are described as subdued and lacking presence, while the Nature's midrange is fuller by comparison
Treble on the K52 is described as forward and occasionally harsh depending on mastering, while the Nature's treble is tamer in comparison
Bass on the K52 is present and reasonably tight with decent kick drum definition Neither is a bass-forward headphone
Isolation on the K52, being closed-back, is reasonably good though inconsistent depending on ear shape and seal. The Nature's isolation is comparable given its own closed-back design, though its comfort-first construction makes for an easier long-session listen overall
Final Thoughts
For its asking price, the SnowSky Nature is a comfortable, well-balanced listen that doesn't try to overreach. It won't satisfy bassheads and the soundstage stays on the intimate side, but the midrange fullness and treble control are genuinely impressive for the segment, and imaging punches above its price point. Pair it with a bit of desktop power like the K17 R2R if you want to hear it at its best, but even off a basic dongle, the Nature holds its own. A solid pick if you're after comfort and tonal balance over an aggressive, basshead-leaning signature
